Going Blue: My Chaotic Gothic Demon Makeup Transformation
Published on:June 01, 2026
Hey gorgeous devils, welcome back to the blog! Today, I’m taking you on a little journey into the dark side, but with a major twist. I sat down to film a wicked new character transformation using a bunch of budget beauty finds I recently hauled from AliExpress, and things did not go exactly according to plan.
The original vision? A pitch-black eyed demonic creature. The reality? I opened up my cases only to realize my contact lenses were actually vibrant blue. But if you know me, you know I absolutely love a creative challenge. We don’t panic over a mishap around here, we adapt, we improvise on the spot, and we see where the makeup takes us. Sometimes the best looks come from the biggest surprises, and this one was no exception.
The Goth Beauty Breakdown
To make the unexpected blue eyes pop, I leaned heavily into high-contrast ghostly whites and deep, messy, smoky blacks. The whole look came together through layering and intuition rather than any strict plan, which honestly made it more fun to create.
I started with the ultimate game-changer from my previous haul: the Pure White Makeup Foundation Cream Set. This stuff is seriously impressive for the price, it doesn’t flake, it acts like a true foundation, and it gives you that flawless, pale canvas that’s absolutely perfect for a carnival, goth party, or cosplay look. If you’ve been sleeping on white face base, this is your sign to try it.
From there, it was all about carving out a creepy, textured look using my fingers and whatever brushes felt right in the moment. For the lips, I went bold with this intensely pigmented Matte Black Lipstick, the colour payoff is unreal and it doesn’t budge once it’s on. If you want to lean a little more glamorous with your darkness, the 7Colors Glitter Metallic Diamond Lipstick is perfect for a sinister shimmer that catches the light beautifully. For finishing touches, I brightened up certain areas of the face using a Shimmering Highlight Stick Eyeshadow Pencil a tiny detail that makes a huge difference in pulling a dramatic look together.
For the really precise detail work the deep cross shapes and fine lines I carved across my face I needed something with a steady, reliable tip. The YANQINA Liquid Eyeliner Pencil 4D Waterproof Mascara Set was perfect for that. The liner is sharp enough to get clean edges even on a textured white base, and the mascara did a great job of thickening and curling without smudging into the rest of the look. And because one dramatic lip product is never enough, I also dipped into this 12 Piece Long-Lasting Lipstick Set with Lip Liner and Matte Lip Gloss having the liner pencils in the set meant I could extend and add extra definition around the edges without needing a separate brush.
Unboxing the Randomness
No haul video of mine would be complete without a little chaos, and this one delivered. I ended up opening a couple of packages live on camera that were a total surprise even to me, the joy of ordering things and completely forgetting about them until they land at your door.
First up was this Women’s Quartz Watch & Jewelry Set, which I genuinely didn’t recognise at first glance. I originally ordered it at random for a potential fashion shoot I’ve been planning, and honestly? It’s a lot more stylish in person than I expected. I showed it on camera because it deserved the spotlight, even though i couldn’t remember why lol
I also got my hands on this absolutely massive 1085PCS Dark Hair Accessories Set, which is exactly as ridiculous and wonderful as it sounds. I didn’t end up using the hairbands for this specific transformation, but they are a genuine lifesaver to have around. If you watch my live streams, you’ll know I’m constantly reaching for hairbands to tuck my hair back and keep it out of my face while I work, so having a thousand of them lying around is basically a dream.
The whole process was messy, chaotic, and completely unscripted, and I think that’s exactly what makes it worth watching. You don’t need perfect precision or a flawless plan to create a fantasy look. Sometimes you just need to roll with what you’ve got and trust the process.
Let me know in the comments whether you prefer your demons with black eyes or blue, I genuinely want to know which version you think works better. And don’t forget to check out all the products linked above if any of them caught your eye!
